Amber's enthusiasm for fitness stems from her being one of the top female race-
walker's in the United States. After being an All-American cross-country and
track and field athlete at UW-Parkside, Amber has gone on to compete in the
Pan-American Games, World Cup Trials, and Olympic Trials. Amber looks forward
to the Olympic Trials, with the goal of being on the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team.
Amber does not just talk the talk, she walks the walk.
Amber tailors her training to work with a variety of clients of all ages and abilities.
With her in-depth knowledge of exercise, challenging and varied workouts, and focus
on biomechanics, Amber's clients receive long-term results and establish healthy
habits and a love for exercise that last a lifetime. Creating a cohesive network of
support, Amber’s clients work as a team to achieve more and build on the successes
of each other. With the majority of Amber’s clients starting with her since she moved
back to Wisconsin in 2004, she gladly celebrates an “Amberversary” for every year of
training.
With her dynamic approach, high energy and positive attitude, Amber not only
motivates her clients but compels audiences with her motivational and
educational presentations. Some of Amber’s audiences include: U.S. Navy
Reserve, U.S Air Force Fire Department, Cudahy Fire Department, Sigma
Aldrich Chemical, South Texas Walking Club and other local and nationwide
organizations.
Danielle McCarroll is a certified instructor of PIYO, Pilates and Yoga. She has practiced
Pilates and Yoga for the past 7 years, however her passion has grown significantly over
the last 2 1/2 years. After having children and adding extra pounds she knew she had to
do something to better herself and gain more energy. She began practicing Pilates and
Yoga daily. She has lost 38 pounds and is stronger than ever. Danielle believes that
anyone can enjoy the benefits of improving your mind, body and spirit, "it doesn't matter
how flexible or strong you are, just that you are here." She will challenge you with a
full body Pilates work out, while offering modifications to meet your needs.
Danielle is a wife and a mother of two, she is an active Real Estate Agent, a
Fitness Instructor and she has a BA in International Studies and French from Ripon
College. "All aspects of my life are better due to the benifits of healing my
mind, body and soul," says Danielle.
Matthew Stojanovic earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse, with a major in Exercise and Sport Science, as well as, a minor in Recreation Management and Coaching Competitive Athletics. Matthew’s training expertise is based on his multiple years of training and studying in the arenas of health and sports performance along with his NSCA-CPT certification. Over the past four years, he has been working in the rehabilitation department at West Allis Memorial Hospital. At the hospital, he spends much of his time helping with the rehabilitation of stroke patients and knee and hip replacement patients. Matthew emphasizes the importance of hard work, discipline, and mental toughness to all of his clients, traits he picked up as a member of the UW-L rugby team. At the collegiate level, Matthew has worked with UW-L student- athletes in the area of strength and conditioning and at the University of Florida where he focused on the importance of fitness testing and corrective exercise.
Matthew specializes in rehabilitation and corrective exercise in order to help improve his clients’ everyday life. He provides all of his clients the tools necessary to incorporate a healthy lifestyle for the rest of their life. With his vast knowledge in biomechanics and nutrition, Matthew goes above and beyond in order to set the stage for each of his clients to succeed. Matthew goes above and beyond the time spent in the gym by staying in constant contact with all of his clients. His clients know that they will get more than a workout when they come to train with him because he works hard to build a trusting relationship. Matthew takes pride in being his clients’ top supporter, motivator and educator.
John Wielichowski has been a full time instructor at MATC for over thirty years. His courses are very popular and all of his sections fill quickly. His teaching responsibilities at Milwaukee Area Technical College have included courses in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Nutritional Science, Environmental Science, Microbiology and Clinical Science. Recently most of his teaching responsibilities have moved to the online environment which has provided John with the time flexibility to further pursue his interest in health and wellness. Always somewhat of a “gym rat”, John decided to pursue certification as a Personal Trainer. In January, 2008 he received national certification as a Personal Trainer through the American Council of Exercise (ACE), He joined Andare Fitness in June, 2008.
He has held certification in National Nordic Ski Coaching, Nordic Ski Instruction and Ski Patrol. He is a frequent participant in Duathlons, 5-K runs, 10-K runs and half marathons. He has trained and competed with his daughters in many of these types of events.
